Valley Floor

We describe the valley floor
As some place to be avoided
the valley of the shadow of death

Yet from this valley here
All I know is beauty carved by elements
Water, weight, pressure, patience

Indescribable phenomena
Articulated and illuminated by an aura
Often forged only in this very manner

And it makes me wonder
