Supply Chain Family Complexity

Excuse me, but can I please have just one locally-sourced blueberry or do all blueberries now arrive from Chile and my phone is Chinese and my car is German and this is the state of the modern economy just like the modern family living far and abroad in Scotland, the Piedmont and Boston and London.  Tea and spice and rice came from the Far Side of the World.  It seems they always did.
