Autumn Tender

The angle of the light

Incarnates the contours

The texture of the leaves

The variegated colours

Burnt orange

Rust red 

Fluorescent yellow

Dreamcatchers all plentiful

Reflections so wonderful

The child inside accepted

Their open invitation

And with my arms extended

I ran to catch a falling star
