How is it that a wonderful word like
Consider
Becomes merely a quid pro quo--
Consideration
When five letters are added at the end
A T I O N

Consider this

If the world stopped spinning
One side would freeze

If the world weren't tilted
There would be no seasons

If the waters had not receded
From the Sahara and
If the dust storms had not
Carried diatoms six thousand miles
Or so, the Amazon would be very different.

And that, for today,
Is my consideration,
For which there is no quid pro quo.
